The Carpentry Program at Yehudah Training Institute is a cornerstone of our vocational training mission—empowering students with the skills to build everything from homes and furniture to churches and schools. It’s more than a trade; it’s a tool for transformation.

Why Carpentry?

In rural Uganda, the demand for skilled carpenters is constant. Carpentry not only provides a sustainable livelihood, but it also contributes directly to community development. At YTI, students learn to design, construct, and repair with excellence and integrity—opening doors to employment, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
