This is where we teach students skills in woodwork, Carpentry, metalwork, plumbing, building, bakery, tailoring, craft work, computers and agriculture.

Yehudah's Mission

Yehudah’s mission is to improve the social welfare and livelihoods of Paicho community members and their families through skills training and economic empowerment. As well as to empower women and young adults to be productive members of their society, equipped with practical knowledge and skills for climate smart, self-reliance livelihoods

This includes deepening financial inclusion through financial literacy training of the girl child, single mothers , and the youth; practical skills training in modern farm technologies for soya beans, maize, rice and livestock; awareness of water responsible management practices in lowlands to promote sustainable use of lowland areas and environmental issues; access to modern equipment and information technology, inputs and improved planting materials/seeds in accordance with Ministry of Agriculture Principles. Yehudah will pursue partnerships with local and international community-based training organizations to provide skilling and training of the enrolled students to develop market linkages, resource mobilization and potential scale up of economic activities in Paicho, Gulu.

Curriculum

Yehuda will offer a comprehensive curriculum that covers all the necessary skills for employment in the fields of woodwork, metalwork, Carpentry, plumbing, building, bakery, tailoring, crafts and agriculture. The curriculum will be regularly reviewed and updated to reflect changes in industry standards.

Wood Work

Developing their creative and critical thinking skills of making items from wood, and includes cabinetry, furniture making, wood carving, joinery, carpentry, and woodturning.

Metal Work

Learning and developing their skills of shaping and reshaping metals.

Carpentry

The art and manner of cutting, forming. and joining wood parts together; shaping and. assembling structural woodwork.

Plumbing

Learning to install and repair pipes and fixtures that carry water, gas, or other fluids in homes and businesses.

Bakery

Prepares, produces, and bakes breakfast pastries, breads, rolls, and some desserts.

Tailoring

Create high-end fashion garments using traditional and modern techniques

Crafts

Makes decorative objects with their hands

Agriculture

To know and enhance their skill and knowledge in Agriculture.

Computer

Improving their Computer Skills and Knowledge.
